TREATMENT

The wood is initially sawed in the forest and then transported to Belem where the wood is treated. It is usually cut first, then passes through the stove, treated and is finally ready to send.

Floor wood does not require treatment since the wood is already hard wood.

Furniture wood is sawed into different sizes and then passed into the stove. The wood is also sprayed with a chemical to guard the wood against insects and fungus.
