The robustness of wood is a grey area for most people however for the manufacturers, no such grey area exists. It is obvious that a wall made of stone would give better strength and security than a wall made of plastic sheet but there are times when the plastic sheet is used in place of stone. In other words, there will always be instances when one has to decide upon what is the best wood for the end use no matter if one has to compromise upon quality, strength or appearance. The performance of a manufactured floor wood used on an external timber roof would yield poor results. One must always remember that to ascertain the optimal performance from the wood, one must use the correct wood for the correct end use.
